The Gold Leaf Chinese Restaurants Group was founded in 1999 by a group of experienced professionals from catering and management of 5-star hotels and food supplies. Our cuisine and dim sum chefs are from famous Hong Kong restaurants and hotels. 

Our friendly service and high quality food at affordable prices have lead to the success of our first restaurant in Springvale. A second restaurant at Sunshine, third restaurant at Burwood and a fourth restaurant at Preston were then subsequently opened for more Melbournians to enjoy our daily Yum Cha, famous BBQ roast meats, seafood and experience our authentic Chinese food for lunch and dinner.

Each individual venue has its own experienced head chef with several special signature dishes that are worth trying.

Our fifth restaurant has been opened since November 2008 at Docklands. The head chef here also specialises in Chao Zhou dishes.

Great Taste Chinese Kitchen is a subsidary catering facility on the ground level just beneath our fifth restaurant at Docklands, serving quality Chinese food for busy people who have limited time for yum cha or dining.

Every Gold Leaf Chinese Restaurant has different ambience keeping in with the local area and is the perfect place for holding corporate or private functions as well as wedding parties, birthday parties, and social events. The manager is available to discuss unique and individual banquet menu designed to suit your requirements and budgeting needs.
